I rent out my lovely house in Dyssekilde when I’m travelling. The house was built in 1992 using recycled materials, and it’s truly cosy — with a wood-burning stove that functions as central heating, solar collectors, solar panels, and several other smart and interesting solutions.

The house has four rooms on the first floor, although one of the children’s rooms is closed to guests. Downstairs there is a large open-plan kitchen/living area and a wonderful covered outdoor terrace (a conservatory-style space), which can be used most of the year — just not during winter, as it is unheated.

Available rental periods in 2026:

The house offers roughly the same standard as an Airbnb rental — including duvets, pillows, bed linen, etc.
When you leave, you’re expected to do a light clean (vacuuming and cleaning the toilet) and put the used bed linen in the laundry.

It comes with two permanent inhabitants, Tiger and Spot, our two cats, which we kindly ask you to look after during your stay.
